Sarsaparilla is not to be confused with Sassparilla. Sassparilla is a type of tree found in the southern united states whose roots were once used to make root beer, where as Sarsaparilla is a Jamaican vine whose roots contain a plant hormone chemically similiar testosterone and can be made into an oral tincture.
